The Ric-Rack Chair is an exploration of efficient material use, portability and dynamism, ideal for relaxing outdoors. The chair folds flat for easy transport and storage. The components are CNC milled from 1/2 inch plywood and assembled with a living hinge. The rope controls how much the chair can recline and functions as a shoulder strap. Efficient material use: three chairs per one 4'x8' sheet of plywood.
The table of drawers is an exploration of flexible compact furniture for people living in tight spaces. Each drawer has a lid that expands the table's surface area or serves as seating. They can be arranged in a variety of ways to increase storage.
